Welcome to Woodlands Lodge
As Home Manager, I am proud and privileged to work at Woodlands Lodge. I worked predominantly in nursing care and management for most of my working life and I have been with Athena for 5 years.
I started my journey at Marine View Lodge where I was lucky enough to become the Deputy Manager for the last 2 and a half years. I am a qualified Clinical Assistant Practitioner and have held a level 3 and 5 in qualification management for 10 years.
As well as gaining experience working with the elderly, including those living with Dementia, I have discovered a great passion for helping provide an excellent standard of care in all aspects of the care sector.
At Woodlands Lodge, we offer a welcoming home with a range of high-quality amenities and activities. We like to make sure our residents’ opinions are voiced and heard, encouraging all staff and residents to bring new ideas for us to include in our programme of care to improve well-being and help build friendships to ensure you continue to live your life to the full.
Together, along with our lively social calendar, we will help you keep your mind and body stimulated and invigorated. Plus, Woodlands Lodge works closely alongside the community with a focus on building friendships and developing interaction with local schools, clubs and Churches.
Our Lodge has been specifically designed to provide high-quality Residential Care and Residential Dementia Care. Our 24-hour services are provided within a warm and friendly environment with a care team that will welcome you into your new home.
All who are interested in the care that’s offered here at Woodlands Lodge are welcome to drop in and visit by appointment, give us a call or visit our Facebook page.
